FuelSure ensures that fuel is dispensed only to authorised vehicles while capturing the vehicle and fuelling information in Real Time. The information is used to account for costs and calculating vehicle service intervals without the need for human interface.
What is FuelSure?
The FuelSure system is geared towards own-use filling stations in the industrial and mining industries including public works and agriculture. FuelSure tracks the liquid assets in storage tanks and simplifies the filling of fleet vehicles at the filling point. One only needs to drive to the pump, fill-up and simply drive away.
FuelSure will automatically authorise the vehicle and the maximum volume allowable without human intervention. The entire filling transaction is captured at the time of fuelling and stored in a central database. The information is available in the cloud and accessible from any web-enabled PC. The database is password protected with all filling information available, including standard reports and the export of data. Critical filling information includes the date & time, start & stop, product, dispenser- or meter-number, fleet number (vehicle number), kilometres or hours, as well as any alarms.

FuelSure Equipment
RF Vehicle Tag
The RF Tag is an active tag fitted in close proximity to the fuel filler cap of the vehicle, positioned conveniently to allow the nozzle to see the Tag when the nozzle is located in the filler spout. The tag is supplied with a fitting kit to suit most commercial, industrial, mining and agricultural vehicles. The Tag is designed to fail should any unauthorised tampering take place.
Fuel Nozzle Reader
FuelSure’s Fuel Nozzle Reader is fitted to a standard market-compatible nozzle and requires no wires or external power supply to operate. The nozzle reader is an enclosed sealed unit designed to take the abuse typical in the fuelling environment. The system is Zone-approved and is battery powered. The FNR identifies the hose and reads the RF Tag fitted at the filler of the vehicle (only when in close proximity). The RF Tag information is read and transmitted to the Controller (FIC) complete with the nozzle information. This information is used to authorise each fuelling transaction, making sure that the vehicle being fuelled is compatible with the product in the hose and has a valid fuelling command to receive fuel.
Vehicle Unit
This “little black box” forms part of the Automatic Vehicle Recognition System which collects the vehicle kilometres travelled or running minutes and automatically transmits the information to the FIC. The vehicle identity information and movement totals are uploaded whenever the vehicle is in close proximity to the “receiver” located in the FIC, where the information is linked to the filling report.
Fuel Island Controler
The FuelSure FIC is the central component of the Automated Fuelling System for each fuel dispensing site. The FIC receives the vehicle identity, kilometres / hours automatically by scanning vehicles within the filling zone. Additional receivers may be added to the facility to keep track of vehicles in allocated zones and to allow for planned maintenance calculations in Real Time.
The FIC controls the filling process by receiving both the nozzle and vehicle Tag information and keeps this and vehicle-related data up to date with the SiteSentry Software. Additionally, the FIC authorises the fill command by presetting the maximum volume of fuel to the vehicle. The FIC capturers the volume dispensed by the pump and logs the volume, start- and stop- time, including any alarms, and uploads the transaction to the SiteSentry Software (central database).
Optional Features of the FIC:
The FIC monitors the product levels in the bulk fuel tank/s and terminates the loading process should the tank level reach the Low level. Level information from the Automatic Tank level Gauge (ATG) is captured by the FIC and recorded in the central database.
FuelSure Software
SiteSentry Software is the management component of the FuelSure system. The software is a web-based application, installed only once on a web server and is accessed from anywhere which allows for the control of multiple sites. Software on individual-client machines are not required and all one requires is web access, web browser software which is standard on most PC’s, to access the software. The SiteSentry Software is highly advanced, user friendly, modular and encapsulates all that is required to manage the vehicle fleet in real time, tailored to customer-specific needs.

FuelSure Anti-Siphon System
The system comprises a mechanical devise installed into the vehicle filler, positioned into the neck of the filler. The system was designed to address the needs of the commercial, mining and agricultural industries where fuel theft and contamination has become a major problem. The FuelSure Anti-Theft system has a comprehensive range of accessories addressing virtually every access to fuel tanks, lines and filters. The equipment is quick and easy to fit and maintenance free.
The anti-syphon device is manufactured from 304 Stainless Steel to prevent rust contamination (corrosion free) and for durable strength. The design allows fast filling volumes with automatic nozzles without excessive foaming (diesel), and is compatible with the FuelSure FNR (field nozzle reader) and vehicle tag.
The Anti-Theft system completes the loop between the pump management system and the vehicle. FuelSure ensures that valuable liquid assets are used in vehicle, prevents theft including unnecessary wastage and accounts for the usage in detailed and easy to read management reports.
